Satellite event: Public Acceptance and Social Impact of Mining and Minerals Recycling (22/11/2019)
A broad cluster of EU H2020 project aims to discuss different viewpoints on public acceptance coming from industry, governments, NGOs, local citizens, academia and international institutions. After the introductory remarks by a representative from EASME, one speaker per sector will propose one key recommendation for the European Commission to consider when dealing with public acceptance and the social impact of mining and minerals recycling. An interactive debate will allow for further alignment of these recommendations. The event ends with a networking cocktail to close the Raw Materials Week 2019.
The event takes place on Friday 22 November 2019, from 14h to 17h (+ networking cocktail) at the Le Plaza Hotel in Brussels.
