The KU Leuven Metaforum working group on Circular Economy (CE) presented and published its position paper in December 2016. The interdisciplinary think-tank Metaforum aims to strengthen the KU Leuven’s involvement in societal debate via multidisciplinary working groups in which researchers from different disciplines combine their scientific expertise and discuss relevant societal issues from different angles. The Circular Economy report mainly is a critical review of the policy context of CE, what stimulates and what hinders CE from a legal, policy and economic point of view, and an analysis of who should do what to foster CE.
