CYPRUS 2025 12th International Conference on Sustainable Solid Waste Management will take place in Paphos, Cyprus from 25th to 28th June 2025. The conference website is available at: https://cyprus2025.uest.gr. The conference will take place both with physical presence and virtually.

The summer school – Executive Training on waste management & circular economy (7th PhD Summer School) will take place on 23rd & 24th June 2025.
The first collaborating journals & the first keynote speakers have already been announced.

Anaerobic Digestion, Waste-to-Energy, Waste Valorization, Biotechnology & Biorefineries, Symbiosis and Circular Economy, Recycling & Resources Recovery, Plastics & Bioplastics, Hazardous Waste include indicative conference topics.
Furthermore, Sustainable Aviation Fuels, methanol and other sustainable biofuels, Solutions & innovations for hydrogen production, efficient storage, distribution & applications, as well as Environmental Diplomacy and Solar technologies to enable sustainability and circularity in the energy sector, constitute new conference topics.
It is noted that awards will be provided for the best posters during the closing session, while a wide exhibition area is foreseen for companies/entities dealing with waste & energy. Networking sessions for projects dealing with sustainable fuels including biomethane, aviation and marine fuels, for projects dealing with biowaste, plastics, paper, metals or/and glass & for projects dealing with waste & water circular economy, wastewater & brine management will be included in the conference agenda, with the presence of high-level European Commission & CINEA representatives providing high networking opportunities.
Splendid social events will be organised, while the one-day site visit-excursion will take place on 28th June 2025. The Gala Dinner will take place on 26th June 2025. More news will soon be available.
